When you come across the message This person is unavailable on Messenger, it typically indicates one of two scenarios: either the person has deactivated their Facebook account or they have blocked you. This prevents you from being able to send them messages on Facebook Messenger. It’s important to note that while these are the most common reasons, they are not the only ones.

Checking if The User Has Blocked You

To ascertain whether the user has blocked you or not, follow these steps. If they have, you will see the error when attempting to send a message.

2. If their profile does not appear, try searching for it using a different Facebook account, such as one belonging to a friend.
   
3. Should the profile be visible on your friend’s account but not yours, it’s likely that the user has blocked you on both Messenger and Facebook.

Checking if The User Has Deactivated Their Facebook Account

If the person has deactivated or deleted their Facebook account and Messenger, you will not be able to verify which action they’ve taken.
